Red Velvet Cookie & Dough Waffle Sandwich

Red Velvet Cookie & Dough Waffle Sandwich

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pack of MPB Red Velvet Cookies
  • 2 frozen waffles of choosing ( I like to use the whole wheat ego waffles)
  • 2.5 tbsp Kodiak cakes flour
  • 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cane sugar
  • 1 packet stevia or sugar substitute
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar free breakfast syrup of choice ( I use hungry jack butter flavor)
  • 1/2 tbsp mini semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp of butter

How to prepare:

To make your cookie dough center, take both flours into a small bowl and mix together. Next, melt your tsp of butter for about 20 seconds in the microwave. Now pour in your butter and milk into the bowl with flour. Mix together thoroughly until you reach a semi-thick consistency.
Add in your sugars and 1/2 tbsp syrup and mix together. Take about half of your half tbsp of semi-sweet chocolate chips and add into your mix. Save the rest for later. Set your bowl in the fridge for about 10-20 minutes to let the dough form.
Now toast your waffles for the recommended time or until crispy (this is preference). Once the waffles are done let them cool for about a minute or 2. Then, you can spoon your dough evenly on each side of the sandwich. Once you’ve placed the dough, grab one of your MPB red velvet cookies and place in the center of one side & place the other waffle on top. Add in a few chips to the outside edges of the sandwich and drown your sandwich in the remaining syrup and ENJOY! 🍪
